Google’s Women Techmakers Scholars Program

Women Techmakers Scholars Program is formerly popular as the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship Program. A group of females is selected from the applicant pool, and scholarships will be awarded based on merit and academic background. This series is hosted by Women Techmakers, both from within and outside Google. The goal of these episodes is to explain topics and technologies in a quick and concise format. Who is eligible for Women Techmakers? Women applicants who have enrolled in Bachelor’s, master’s, or postgraduate degrees at an accredited university in computer science or subjects related to technology are eligible to apply for this scholarship program. The award for this program for the eventual winners varies; if you are studying in the U.S., Canada, Europe/Middle East/Africa, or Asia you will receive US$10,000, $5,000 CAD, or EUR 7000 respectively.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW)

The American Association of University Women, officially founded in 1881, is a non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. Its sole purpose is to advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Be a citizen of a country other than the USA.
  2. Have an academic degree equivalent to a US undergraduate degree.
  3. Be a full-time student for the scholarship year.
  4. Intend to return and pursue a professional career in their home country.

Adobe India Women In Technology Scholarship 2020

The Adobe India Women in Technology program is a scholarship specifically for women who are from India and in the technology field. The program was introduced to innovate more Indian women to pursue careers in the technological field. Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a formal technology 4-year BE / B. Zonta International – Jane M. Klausman Women In Business Scholarship

Zonta annually awards up to 32 scholarships of US$2,000 each at the district/region level and six international scholarships in the amount of US$8,000 each. Since the program’s inception, Zonta has awarded 640 scholarships, totaling more than US$1.5 million, to 492 women representing 58 countries. The scholarship is meant to encourage women who have chosen a career in the business field and give them a platform to thrive. Zonta International believes in gender equality.

The Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Program

The program’s long-term goal is to accelerate gender equality in STEM by creating conditions that enable more women to pursue scientific goals/careers. The SLB Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports science and technology education. The PEO International Peace Scholarship

The scholarship is based upon demonstrated need; however, the award is not intended to cover all academic or personal expenses. At the time of application, the applicant is required to indicate additional financial resources adequate to meet her estimated expenses. Examples of additional resources are personal and family funds, tuition waivers, work scholarships, teaching assistantships, study grants, and other scholarships. The International Peace Scholarship Fund was established in 1949 to provide scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study. The maximum amount awarded to a student is $12,500. Lesser amounts may be awarded according to individual needs.
