Humphrey Fellowship Program

This scholarship is available for professionals from designated countries around the world. Eligibility depends on their potential for leadership and their commitment to public service in either the public or private sector.  The fellowships are full grants covering all related expenses. The program is very competitive and limited to 25 fellows each year.  Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree in any field of study and must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

The program is administered by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and is sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in their respective country.  The application process consists of an online application, essays, and letters of recommendation.

These are the government scholarship program but there are also US colleges and universities that offer scholarships for international students like American University Scholarship, Clark University Scholarships, Columbia College Scholarships, e.t.c.

For an international student to decide which of the scholarships is best for the scholar be it governmental scholarship or US colleges and universities scholarships the scholar is expected to read more on the scholarship of their choice and make sure they are eligible and on time for the scholarship they have in mind.
