A lot of students keep wondering if they can study in the Netherlands with a second class lower. Your score should be highly competitive because, in some programs, the number of applicants is far higher than the available places. Now, this is where the selection procedure comes into light. Also, note that required average scores vary according to universities and majors because each university and course have different admission requirements. Sometimes even each course within the same school has different admission requirements.

The Dutch language is their first official spoken language that would have to be learned. Yes, most people in the Netherlands take the Dutch language as their first language and the English language as their second language, hence, most people in the Netherlands can speak the English language but in order to live in Netherland, you will have to learn the two languages.
Besides the communication aspect of learning the two languages, most universities may offer you courses in Dutch though as a second language which you obviously have to do.

Now back to the original question, can I study in the Netherlands with a second class lower? The answer to that is YES but please note that it is not all the universities in the Netherlands that will accept students in the Netherlands.
If you have a second class lower you still have a chance to study in the Netherlands. The good news is that some master’s degree programs in the Netherlands do not have strict criteria for the minimum GPA requirement.
The GPA required by you depends on the course you applied for and your overall academic profile. In cases where a student has a good academic record and achievements, your GPA might play a minor role in your requirements. Universities in the Netherlands like Wageningen Universiteit, Universiteit Twente, Radboud Universiteit, etc, accept second-class lower for their English-based master’s based degree program.
